Young Fundraisers Challenge for Bath Cats & Dogs
Get your children to be active and creative in their summer holidays by planning challenges that raise money to help cats and dogs.
The local charity are asking them to aim to raise £150 – where they will receive a special embroidered badge to show what a fundraising superhero they really are. But whatever they can raise will still make a difference – even just £20 will fund a mini-medical pack for a new cat or dog who comes in, giving them their essential flea and worm treatment.
Your child can choose their own challenge – they may want to be doing what they love to do, or choose something they would find a challenge and feel proud of themselves for completing.

Why fundraise for Bath Cats & Dogs Home?
The rehoming centre in Bath is often the only place a neglected, abused or unwanted cat or dog can go to. They take in over 700 cats and dogs every year from our area which covers Bath, north east Somerset and parts of Wiltshire. Animals come to the charity from Dog Wardens, RSPCA Inspectors, the Police and also members of the public who can no longer care for their pet – whatever the reason.
In the community, they understand that pets are often best kept with their owners, so we provide financial support, stock food banks and provide health checks for pets of those on low incomes or vulnerably housed.
The charity are financially independent, and need to raise £2.1 million every year, from big-hearted supporters and fundraisers like you and your family.
