Theatre Royal Bath is preparing to bring a little extra magic to the city this Christmas as its spectacular family pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, takes to the stage from Thursday 10 December 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027.

The festive season is set to sparkle as the much-loved fairy tale comes to life in a production promising laughter, wonder and plenty of pantomime fun for audiences of all ages.

Principal members of the cast recently gathered at The Bird, a Bath venue and sponsor of this year’s pantomime, to officially launch the production and celebrate the countdown to Christmas.

Among the exciting casting announcements is West End performer Andrew Gallo, whose credits include Mamma Mia!, who will take on the roles of both The Beast and The Prince.

Presented by UK Productions in association with Theatre Royal Bath, the show promises a festive theatrical experience filled with magical moments, colourful characters and the traditional humour that makes pantomime such a treasured Christmas tradition.

With its enchanting story and family-friendly appeal, Beauty and the Beast is set to be a highlight of Bath’s festive entertainment calendar.

The production opens on Thursday 10 December 2026 and runs until Sunday 10 January 2027, giving families plenty of opportunities to enjoy a little theatrical magic throughout the Christmas holidays.
