Sleeping Beauty comes to the Theatre Royal Bath this Christmas!
Theatre Royal Bath is delighted to announce that it will be showing Sleeping Beauty as this year’s Christmas pantomime! Featuring a star-studded cast, including West End and TV star Neil McDermott as the Prince and Hollyoaks’ Sarah Jane Buckley as Fairy Snowfall, Sleeping Beauty is sure to be fun for all the family.
Written by Bath pantomime legend Jon Monie, who will also star in the show, Sleeping Beauty tells the story of Princess Rose, who is cursed to fall asleep on her 18th birthday and can only be awoken by true love’s kiss. Maisie Sellwood will make her Theatre Royal Bath debut as the beautiful Princess. Furthermore, Eastenders star Nick Wilton will take to the stage as the hilarious Dame Nanny Nora. Sleeping Beauty promises to be a hilarious musical extravaganza featuring top musical hits, stunning costumes, and thrilling special effects that are sure to delight panto fans of all ages.
Having entertained Bath’s pantomime audiences for over a quarter of a century, Martin Dodd’s UK
Productions make a welcome return for the twenty-sixth year. Last year’s production of Cinderella was nominated for Best Panto at the Great British Pantomime Awards.
Sleeping Beauty runs at the Theatre Royal Bath from the 7th of December 2023 to the 7th of January 2024, but you should book soon to avoid disappointment!
