Elevate Festival at Theatre Royal Bath champions new, local talent

From Friday 3rd to Sunday 19th of March, Theatre Royal Bath will be hosting the Elevate Festival, a joyful celebration of theatre packed with live performances from local writers. The festival will be staged in a brand new pop-up theatre and will feature 140 participants from 27 companies across 15 days, with as many as 3 different performances staged daily.

This exciting celebration of local talent will showcase brand new writing, family-friendly theatre, rehearsed readings, drag performances, dance acts, and more. Elevate Festival continues Theatre Royal’s ongoing work in the local community, and all theatre companies involved will take home 100% of their box office earnings.

The festival opens on Friday 3rd of March at 8pm with Royal-Tea, a fabulous drag show presented by Bristol-based company Pest Production and featuring hostess Cilly Black. The final performance, a high energy family-friendly science show called Do Try This At Home, will take place on Sunday 19th of March at 2:30pm.
