Chippenham Food Festival has all the ingredients for an amazing day out!

Looking for a delicious day out? Look no further! On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of July, there will be a food festival at Monkton Park in Chippenham. Organisers of the event have worked hard to bring together a scrumptious selection of entertainment, fine wines, delicious artisan foods and masterclasses from local and celebrity chefs. There will also be a dog show which means the festival will be fun for all the family, even the dog!

On Saturday 8th, celebrity co-presenter of BBC Masterchef, the one and only John Torode, will be conducting a cooking demonstration where guests can learn a variety of tasty tips and tricks. Then, on Sunday 9th, Great British Bake Off 2021 finalist Chigs Parmar will enter the Chef’s Kitchen, followed by culinary legend Rosemary Shrager. Other inspiring guests include the Head Chef from the Foxham, located north of Chippenham, which has earned the reputation of being Wiltshire’s ‘Finest Seafood Restaurant’. Pre-booking is essential for these masterclasses so don’t miss out!

That’s not all! There will also be a number of cheese masterclasses, hosted by Ned Palmer, and a masterclass on the journey of coffee from bean to cup hosted by award-winning barista Callum Parsons. If you’re still hungry, the festival will offer an array of artisan food and drink stands all around the festival.

Want dinner and a show? A selection of musicians and street theatre performers will be at the festival, including traditional Punch and Judy shows for the younger guests. Don’t forget to bring the family dog on Sunday 9th, as there is the opportunity to win prizes in a fun dog show for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Adult tickets are £8. Children under the age of 16 can attend for free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. The festival will run from 10am to 7pm on the 8th and 10am to 5pm on the 9th.
