Bradford on Avon Walking Festival 2023

The historic town of Bradford on Avon will host the annual Walking Festival from 30th August.

Walks are graded easy, moderate or demanding and are described as follows:

Easy – a mainly level, comfortably paced walk, up to about 3 or 4 miles, with no stiles.
Moderate – a more challenging, half day walk, up to about 7 or 8 miles, faster pace, with steps, steeper gradients and possibly stiles.
Demanding – an all day walk, longer and more demanding still, faster pace, requiring greater stamina; possibly more, steeper gradients. We would expect participants to be able to keep up with the pace set by the leader; it is a walk rather than an amble.
