Bath Comedy presents: Edinburgh Previews Festival 2024
A Two-Week Festival of Handpicked Edinburgh Preview Comedy Shows in Bath.
Sunday 14th – Thursday 25th July 2024
Bath Comedy – Bath’s award-winning independent professional comedy production company – is thrilled to announce an exhilarating two-week festival of Edinburgh Preview comedy shows, set to take place during the latter half of July. This festival promises 22 exceptional comedy performances in two favourite small venues, providing an unforgettable intimate experience for comedy enthusiasts and festival-goers alike.
The festival will showcase a carefully curated selection of shows from some of the most talented comedians in the UK. These previews offer audiences a sneak peek at the latest material from both established acts and up-and-coming stars before they hit the iconic Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Nowhere, (on the Lower Bristol Road), is home to many regular Bath Comedy Club nights throughout the year, with an up-close and personal atmosphere that immerses attendees in the unique energy of each performance.
Upstairs @ Bath Pizza Co, (above Green Park Brasserie), is Bath Comedy’s brand new venue partner – launched during the Comedy Festival this year, which enjoys a Regency splendour redolent of Edinburgh’s famous Assembly Rooms.
This festival delivers an ideal and affordable opportunity to experience a diverse range of comedy talent. Audiences can expect an array of comedic styles, with most shows lasting approximately 60 minutes plus a few double bills and longer sets.
Nick Steel, Director of Bath Comedy, said: “We have handpicked a fabulous line-up of comedians – whether you’re a comedy connoisseur or simply seeking a night out, our mini-Edinburgh festival offers an unmissable opportunity to experience choice previews of Fringe comedy in the best of settings.”
Featured artists: Adam Flood, Tom Rosenthal, Robin Morgan, Steve Hughes, Dr Phil Hammond, Ted Hill, Ghost Huns, Dan Tiernan, Graham Dickson, Tiff Stevenson, Abi Clarke, Marjolein Robertson, Daniel Cainer, Andrew O’Neill, Horatio Gould, Finlay Christie, Nate Kitch, Stella Graham, Javier Jarquin, Dave Chawner, Arthur Smith & Phil Nice.
