Bath Christmas Market – Residents Information

Bath Christmas Market transforms the city centre into a winter wonderland, and as Bath residents ourselves, we know there are some key bits of information you need to enjoy the festive season in your local city. This page contains some really useful information and some key contact details for during the event.

This information has been kindly provided by bathchristmasmarket.co.uk

Residents’ Evening

Every year, we host a residents’ preview evening the night before our formal opening. This is a time for those living in B&NES and surrounding areas to come down, soak up the festive atmosphere, and pick up some Christmassy goodies ahead of the market’s first day. All of our traders and caterers will be open and trading, and there will be lots of festive entertainment to help you get into the Christmas spirit.

Discovery Card Discounts

Every stallholder and caterer at Bath Christmas Market has signed up for the discovery card scheme, meaning that Monday to Friday, all discovery card holders receive a range of discounts on their products, food and drink. You must show your discovery card to benefit from this offer, and no other proof of address will be accepted.

Road Closures

Throughout the event, including set up and load-out, the safety of our staff, visitors and stallholders is our number one priority. Working with the police, we have made changes to our road closures from this year, including extending the timings of the closures to keep the site safe and secure. Monday to Saturday:  Every five minutes from 9:30am to 8:30pm

Sunday: Every five minutes from 9:30am to 6pm

PLEASE NOTE: due to the closure of Milsom Street, the Lansdown Park and Ride stop has been relocated to Queen Square (what3words: soils.foods.calm)
