University of Bath Jazz Night 20/3/26

Bath University Big Band are proud to bring their annual Jazz Night to The Forum – expect big sounds, bold energy, and immaculate vibes.
This award-winning 60+ piece ensemble is known for its groove, power, and big energy sound. From the Cheltenham Jazz Festival to the University of Bath Summer Ball, they’ve lit up major stages – and now they’re bringing that same energy to this unmissable night.
The evening celebrates the University’s musical diversity, blending timeless jazz standards with funk, soul, and modern big band charts. Think soaring brass, catchy hooks, rich harmonies, and rhythms that hit hard – a fresh, modern take on the big band sound.
Big Band will be joined by their fellow Choral and Orchestral Society group, String Ensemble, alongside the BUSMS Musical Theatre Ensemble, bringing lush strings and some seriously catchy musical numbers, with the full band firing up the stage alongside dancers from the Salsa and Latin & Ballroom societies for a high-energy, can’t-miss finale.
This is a jazz night not to be missed.
