Trowbridge’s St Stephens Place car park to close for five days for repairs

Jul 28, 2025 | News

The multi-storey St Stephens Place car park in Trowbridge is closing for five days next month for urgent repairs.

From Monday 11 August to Friday 15 August inclusive, the car park will be completely closed to carry out some concrete repairs. The car park will reopen on Saturday 16 August.

Cllr Helen Belcher, Cabinet Member Economic Development, Regeneration and Assets, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this closure, but this work is essential to keep the car park safe and usable in the immediate future.

We were originally advised that the work would take two days. However, the extent of the work required means that it is now scheduled to last five days.

We appreciate people’s understanding and patience while this work is carried out.”
