Trowbridge Gears Up for Uniform Services Day 2025

Trowbridge Town Council is proud to announce that its annual Uniform Services Day will take place
in Trowbridge Park on Saturday, 13th September 2025, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The event
celebrates the work of uniformed services, offering a fun and informative day for the whole
community.
Visitors can look forward to popular attractions such as Rapidshot, which challenges guests to test
their aim with interactive target lights and airsoft rifles; the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance
Charity, showcasing vital lifesaving work across the region; WAGs Retired Police Dogs, highlighting the service of loyal four-legged officers; and the Wiltshire Caledonian Pipes & Drums band, providing a stirring musical backdrop throughout the day.
This year also introduces exciting new attractions. In the arena in the top park, The Mighty Smith,
previously ranked 5th in the World’s Strongest Man and three-time UK Strongest Man champion, will demonstrate incredible feats of strength. Visitors can also enjoy Pottery Palette, offering hands-on creative activities, and on the stage in the bottom park, War Time Dancers, performing period-
inspired routines that capture the spirit and energy of the 1940s.
A wide selection of food and drink will be available throughout the day, featuring favourites from
previous years, including The Cosy Kitchen, T+B’s Delights Churros, and Veli’cious, alongside
new vendors such as Ice Queen, Everyone’s Brew, and Sweet Sensations, ensuring there’s
something to satisfy every taste.
Uniform Services Day offers a unique opportunity for the community to meet those who serve, past
and present, while enjoying live demonstrations, interactive activities, and family-friendly attractions.
The event is free to attend. For further details, including maps and schedules, please visit
