Stephanie Millward MBE chats at Radio Bath Business Breakfast

Last month at the Radio Bath Business Breakfast, attendees heard from an incredibly inspiring guest speaker, Stephanie Millward MBE.
Stephanie then sat down with Simon McNeill-Ritchie and shared the remarkable story of how life changed dramatically after losing her sight and being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at just 17, just as a place at the Sydney Olympics with Team GB appeared within reach. Rather than giving up on elite sport altogether, she spoke openly about resilience, reframing ambitions and finding a new path back into competitive swimming.
That journey ultimately led her to become one of Britain’s most successful Paralympic swimmers, representing ParalympicsGB across four Paralympic Games and winning an incredible 10 Paralympic medals, including two gold medals in Rio 2016.
Stephanie’s conversation was honest, moving, and hugely motivating for everyone in the room, touching on mindset, determination and adapting when life does not go to plan.
