RUHdolph Day Is Coming to Bath This December!

RUHX is calling on workplaces, schools, community groups and families across Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire to get into the festive spirit and support their local hospital this Christmas.
A brand-new festive fundraising initiative, RUHdolph Day, is taking place on Wednesday 9 December 2026, raising vital funds to support patients, families and staff at the Royal United Hospitals Bath.
Organised by RUHX, the official charity of the RUH Bath, the campaign encourages people to gather their friends, colleagues, classmates or community groups, dress in something merry and bright, and enjoy some festive fundraising fun.
While the official RUHdolph Day falls on 9 December, participants can choose any day throughout December that works best for them.
Gather Your Herd for a Good Cause
Every Christmas, thousands of patients, families and hospital staff spend the festive season at the RUH, often away from the celebrations they would usually enjoy with loved ones.
RUHdolph Day offers the local community a chance to come together, spread some festive cheer and make a meaningful difference.
There are plenty of ways to get involved:
-
Wear your favourite Christmas jumper or something festive.
-
Organise a Christmas bake sale or mince pie and coffee morning.
-
Bring colleagues or friends together for some reindeer games.
-
Decorate your workplace, classroom or community space.
-
Create your own festive fundraising challenge.
Laura Snell, Events & Community Manager at RUHX, said:
“However you choose to take part, it’s a chance to have some fun, bring people together and do something really special for your local hospital this Christmas.”

Registration for RUHdolph Day is completely free, and everyone who signs up will receive a fundraising pack filled with festive ideas, resources and inspiration to help make their event a success.
