Pantomime stars visit the Bath Royal United Hospital

Stars of the Theatre Royal Bath’s pantomime The Further Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook today visited the Children’s Ward at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, where they met young patients and their families during the festive season.
Bath favourite Jon Monie who plays Smee in Bath’s pantomime; Marcus J Foreman who plays the title role of Peter Pan and Nickelodeon Jnr’s Holly Atterton who plays Tinker Bell in Bath’s family show, today spent time meeting and talking with patients and staff members to bring some Christmas cheer before returning to the stage for the matinee performance of the pantomime.
Jon Monie – who will reach an incredible milestone of 1,300 pantomime performances during this current run – said: “It was a huge pleasure to visit the Children’s Ward at the RUH and meet not just the children but the wonderful staff as well. It can be a particularly difficult time of year to be in hospital, and we wish all the children and members of staff the very best this festive season”.
Transport to the Children’s Ward was generously provided by Berkeley Coach and Travel.
During their visit the actors handed out goodie bags to the children, kindly provided by pantomime Sponsors The Bird, Bath and Bath Carpets and Flooring.
The Further Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook appears at the Theatre Royal Bath until Sunday 11 January 2026. Tickets are available online at theatreroyal.org.uk or through the Theatre Royal Bath Box Office on 01225 448844
