New independent café and bakery planned for Bath city centre
Plans have been submitted for a new independent café and bakery in the heart of Bath.
Jocelin is looking to open in Shires Yard, taking over the premises previously occupied by independent wine merchant and wine bar Le Vignoble.
The site sits between Milsom Street and Broad Street in the city centre, with proposals now submitted to Bath & North East Somerset Council for the change of use.
If approved, the plans would bring the currently vacant premises back into use and add another independent food and drink business to the area.
Shires Yard was originally developed as a retail destination and provides a pedestrian link between two of Bath’s best-known shopping streets.
The application is currently being considered by Bath & North East Somerset Council.
