National Play Day event held in Twerton

Radio Bath were delighted to join the National Play Day celebrations in Twerton, Bath, organised by the brilliant Bath Area Play Project (BAPP). What a glorious sunny afternoon it was – and we weren’t alone! With over 400 events taking place nationwide, Bath’s own Play Day was one of the biggest, welcoming nearly 1,000 children and their families.

Our Radio Bath team joined in the fun:
-
Aryna, Dine and Loraine showed off their artistic flair with face painting 🎨
-
Presenters James and Tom kept the atmosphere lively with music and announcements 🎶
The day was packed with activities including bouncy castles, creative arts, live music, and drum sessions from the amazing Jamma de Samba.

We were also thrilled to see a team from Bath College, proud Patrons of Radio Bath, joining the celebrations.
👏 A huge congratulations to Caroline and her team at Bath Area Play Project for organising such a fantastic community event.
