Kavus Torabi is a multii-instrumentalist, author, artist and, since, 2016, singer and songwriter with the legendary Gong and The Utopia Strong. 

Kavus Torabi is a versatile British/Iranian artist known for his talents as a composer, multi-instrumentalist, performer, author, artist, broadcaster, and DJ. Since 2016, he has been the frontman of the iconic psychedelic band Gong, where he serves as the principal songwriter. Additionally, he is a member of the semi-modular experimental/psychedelic trio, The Utopia Strong. Torabi’s musical journey includes stints as the guitarist for the legendary British cult band Cardiacs and the avant-rock instrumentalists Guapo.
