FUNdraising Event at Pewsham Community Hall in Chippenham 9/05/26

A fun afternoon of various activities and fundraising is open to all to raise vital funds for local charity Dorothy House Hospice Care and the Multiple System Atrophy Trust.

The organisers say;
We wanted to do something for charity and put some good back into the world, so we got together and ultimately decided to support these two very deserving charities that are close to our hearts.
We all know the fantastic work Dorothy House at Winsley does. We wanted to support a local charity and chose them as we have all had personal experience of the vital work they do, and in these austere times local fundraising and community support is needed by them more than ever.Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is a little known, rare and devastating progressive neurological condition which affects all of the body’s basic functions.
It is a terminal illness as there is currently no cure. This disorder has sadly struck one of our sisters, hence the very personal reason and our desire to raise funds for this cause too. The MSA Trust is the only charity in the UK and The Republic of Ireland dedicated to supporting people affected by MSA and funding vital research to find the cause and, ultimately, hopefully a cure. As a small charity that receives no Government support, they rely entirely on fundraisers like us in the community and charitable donations to continue their vital work and also raise awareness of this life-changing condition.
