Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown to appear at The Forum Bath

Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown will visit Bath this September as part of a national tour to discuss his latest book, The Future Starts With Us.
The event takes place at The Forum Bath on Wednesday 9 September, with doors opening at 6pm and the talk beginning at 7pm.
Drawing on his experience in government and his current international development work, Brown will explore a range of issues including global instability, civic engagement and the challenges facing communities around the world.
Brown served as Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1997 to 2007 before becoming Prime Minister, a role he held until 2010. He now serves as the United Nations Special Envoy for Global Education and is also the World Health Organization’s Ambassador for Global Health Finance.
Tickets for the event include a copy of The Future Starts With Us, which can be collected on the evening.
