Explore Wiltshire this Spring with £3 bus fares

Wiltshire residents are being encouraged to get out and about this Spring and make the most of the £3 bus fare cap, which continues to offer great value for travel across the county.
Single bus fares in Wiltshire are capped at a maximum of £3, with some shorter journeys costing even less. This makes travelling by bus an affordable and sustainable way to reach local attractions, commute to work, visit friends, or explore somewhere new.
With brighter days on the way, now is the perfect time to leave the car at home and discover Wiltshire’s towns, countryside and heritage by bus.
Cllr Martin Smith, Cabinet Member for Highways, Streetscene and Flooding said: “Spring is a wonderful time to get out and enjoy everything Wiltshire has to offer, and the £3 bus fare cap makes it easier and more affordable than ever. Whether you’re heading to work, popping into town, visiting family or exploring our beautiful countryside. I’d encourage everyone to hop on board and see where £3 can take you.”
Wiltshire continues to see significant investment in its local bus network. Recent funding from the Department for Transport is helping us to continue the service enhancements introduced last year and will also enable us to improve bus stops and bus shelters as well.
