Step into the world of one of photography’s true titans. As Don McCullin celebrates his 90th year, the Holburne proudly presents Don McCullin: Broken Beauty, an extraordinary exhibition of the legendary photojournalist. Join them for a once-in-a-lifetime evening with Don McCullin in conversation with acclaimed broadcaster, arts champion and long-standing friend Mariella Frostrup.

From war zones to Roman statues, McCullin’s lens has captured the raw edge of humanity and the quiet dignity of ancient beauty. This exclusive event marks the UK debut of his latest and most unexpected body of work: intimate, haunting photographs of Roman sculptures, taken in museums across the globe.

What to expect:

  • Reflections on a career that spans Vietnam, Northern Ireland, Cyprus, and beyond
  • Insights into his Somerset landscapes and still-life compositions
  • A deep dive into his most recent work, Broken Beauty, on view at the Holburne from 30 Jan to 4 May 2026
