Castle Combe Circuit to host HSCC 60th Summer Historic Weekend

Aug 6, 2026 | Events

Historic motorsport returns to Castle Combe Circuit this August as the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) celebrates its 60th anniversary with a special Summer Historic Weekend.

Taking place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August, the event will mark six decades of the HSCC and its long-standing role in UK historic motorsport.

The weekend also celebrates the club’s connection with Castle Combe Circuit, including the first Griffiths Formula race held at the venue on 16 May 1966.

Alongside the HSCC programme, the CCRC Home Championships will feature across both days. Formula Ford 1600 and GT cars will compete on Saturday, while Saloon Cars and Hot Hatch racing take centre stage on Sunday.

Visitors can also enjoy open paddocks, giving fans the chance to get close to the cars and teams, alongside a wide range of historic machinery in a relaxed summer setting.

The full HSCC race programme will be confirmed nearer the event.
