Beaujolais Nouveau at Emberwood, Bath

Celebrate the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau 2026 with a special evening of French wine, exceptional food and lively conversation at Emberwood in Bath.
On Thursday 19 November, Emberwood welcomes Christophe Pacalet, one of the Beaujolais region’s celebrated winemakers, alongside Claire Thevenot of Vins Clairs, for an evening exploring the wines and traditions of this renowned French wine region.
The evening begins with the newly released Beaujolais Nouveau 2026 before taking guests on a journey through some of the region’s finest terroirs, with magnums poured throughout the celebration.
Christophe will be on hand to share stories from the region and answer questions about Gamay, the Beaujolais Crus and the winemaking traditions that make these wines so distinctive.
To complement the experience, Executive Head Chef David Hazell has created a special three-course menu with a gentle nod to France, designed to pair beautifully with the wines.
Expect a relaxed evening of wonderful food, generous wine pours and good company, with the opportunity to linger a little longer.
