Bath Carnival 2026 Set to Fill City Streets with Music, Colour and Community Spirit

Bath’s biggest free outdoor community arts event is set to return this summer as Bath Carnival takes over the city on Saturday 11 July.
Bringing together thousands of people from across Bath and beyond, the annual celebration showcases the city’s creativity, diversity and community spirit through a vibrant programme of music, performance, arts and culture.
Organisers say this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious Carnivals to date, with colourful performances, community groups, artists and musicians coming together for a day-long celebration in the heart of the city.
Now firmly established as one of Bath’s flagship community events, Bath Carnival offers something for all ages, with activities, entertainment and performances designed to bring people together and celebrate the rich cultural life of the city.
As the largest free outdoor community arts event in Bath, the Carnival continues to play an important role in showcasing local talent while creating opportunities for communities to connect through creativity and shared experiences.
Thousands are expected to attend the event on Saturday 11 July, with organisers encouraging residents and visitors alike to join in the festivities and help make 2026 the biggest and best Bath Carnival yet.
