Wiltshire residents, schools and community groups are being invited to join the Great British Spring Clean 2026 from 13 to 29 March, helping to keep towns, villages and countryside clean, green and safe for wildlife.

Plans are under way for a new pedestrian and cycle bridge over the River Avon and changes to Silver Street in Bradford on Avon, as Wiltshire Council and the town council work together to improve safety, air quality and movement around the town.

The free Healthy Man programme will be launching in Corsham and Trowbridge in January following the success of its first cohort in Chippenham.

The council achieved the highest satisfaction score out of 111 local authorities for how easy it is for people to get in touch and report a problem and its Park & Ride service achieved the second highest score in the country – for the third year in a row.
