Award-Winning Abraham Lincoln One-Man Show Coming to Bath 12/06

A powerful one-man theatrical performance exploring the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln is coming to Bath this June.
A Night with Abraham Lincoln will be staged at Burdall’s Yard on Friday 12 June as part of its UK tour, with acclaimed Lincoln presenter Jacob Truax bringing the 16th President of the United States to life on stage.
The 75-minute solo show blends theatre, history and storytelling, tracing Lincoln’s journey from his difficult frontier childhood through to the presidency during one of the most turbulent periods in American history.
Audiences can expect humour, personal stories and some of Lincoln’s most famous speeches, including House Divided, the Second Inaugural Address and the closing Gettysburg Address.
The production aims to offer both entertainment and historical insight, highlighting Lincoln’s wit, compassion and leadership.
Jacob Truax is an award-winning Lincoln interpreter and lifetime member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters. Known for his detailed historical research and engaging performance style, he has appeared across the United States, with this marking his first professional engagement in the UK.
The performance takes place at Burdall’s Yard, Anglo Terrace, Bath, on 12 June at 7pm.
Tickets are priced between £16.26 and £18.43.
