This week 250 children from Bath and Northeast Somerset will come together in the magnificent Bath Abbey to premiere ‘The Elements Cantata’, written by composer Russell Hepplewhite and lyricist Jamila Gavin, alongside three favourites from Voices for Life’s ‘Extraordinary!’ project by Bath’s talented writers Jools Scott and Sue Curtis.

Somerset's winning week ended on a sour note last

Somerset's winning week ended on a sour note last night as they lost the T20 final to local rivals Gloucestershire at Edgbaston. Set a small total of 125 to win Gloucestershire's opening pair cashed in winning with 5 overs to spare. With the treble now gone Somerset turn their attention to Durham away in the penultimate championship match of the season later this week.
In Football wins for Bath City, Chippenham Town and Larkhall Athletic at Frome. There's a replay for Melksham in FA qualifying round two.
At Golf's Irish Open Rory McIlroy leads the field on six under. Bath golfers Laurie Canter and Jordan Smith lie joint third on 3 under par going into today's final round. In Formula One Bristol driver Lando Norris in the Mclaren qualified 16th for today's Azerbaijan Grand prix.

Tomorrow afternoon on Radio Bath Sport Bath City are at home to Merthyr in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup. Chippenham Town face a tricky tie in North Somerset at Nailsea & Tickenham. There's also plenty of other non League fixtures featuring our local sides. In Cricket its been a brilliant week so far for Somerset after Thursday's 111 run win over Division One leaders Surrey in the county championship at Taunton. Former England skipper Michael Vaughan's son Archie and fellow spinner Jack Leach shared twenty wickets in a dramatic match. Tomorrow Somerset are at Edgbaston again as the current holders of the T20 Blast competition.
In the first semi-final the cidermen face Surrey and Gloucestershire play Sussex.
Join Paul Davis for 'Radio Bath Sport' later today from 2pm. Paul will also feature Formula One qualifying for the Azerbijan Grand Prix and Golf's Irish Open.
